I loved Sandra Bullock in this gold Marchesa gown.

I also loved Vera Farmiga in this stunning fuchsia gown, also Marchesa.

Earlier this year, Lilly Pulitzer introduced the Originals Collection, a collection that was made for everyone to Re-Lilly. The fabulous collection is made to be worn with love and passed onto future generations. How fun!
To celebrate, a video contest was launched with the following prompt:
Film a brief video clip (less than 2 minutes). Nothing professional…we’re all aspiring cinematographers, just pull out the FlipCam, webcam or any ole digital number and tell your story. Tell us about something that was given to you OR something special that you want to pass along and to whom… the unborn are accepted as an answer!
Today is the last day for entries. I finally made my video last night!
Talk about procrastination. Please enjoy the video on YouTube by clicking the image above.
PS- Don’t forget to follow Lilly Pulitzer on Twitter and check out their Facebook page!
Update: “I Won 2nd Place in Re-Lilly Contest” showcases the dresses I won.
In reading about all the petitions against IE6 (IE6 Must Die), I came across a great little site called Twibbon. This site allows you to create little images that will be placed over your picture on Twitter.
People make different images to support many different causes, but I made two to celebrate Lilly Pulitzer’s 50th Anniversary.
Check out my Twitter page to see the first one layered over my picture.

I remember loving my French classes back in high school. It felt so good to be relatively proficient in the language. I even played the Little Prince in my senior high school French class’ video adaption of Le Petite Prince. (Hey, it was a class of all girls.)
I loved French so much that I even considered it as a minor in college. When that fell apart, I was saddened that I had no real outlet for continuing my French education. Today, I made one small step toward becoming friends with French again; I changed my Facebook language setting to French. At at the very least, I will start seeing words in French on a little more regular basis.
Baby steps.

And using Google Translate, I even translated this post to read in French. (Mrs. Kellet would not approve of this!)
